Vision

"Making A Difference One Student At A Time"

Purpose

To provide higher education opportunities in Canada and other developed countries to highly qualified and motivated students from the Greater Middle East.

Strategy

To secure tuition-free scholarships from partner universities, primarily in Canada, and raise funds for students’ living and other expenses from private corporations and individual donors.

Funding

“Pay It Forward” Scholarship Campaign seeks corporate and individual donations.

  • Commitments for first 10 students' travel and living expenses
  • First 3 students accepted at Canadian post-secondary institutions at both undergraduate and graduate levels
  • Advisory Board in place (members in Canada, USA, EU, the Middle East; senior officer of Vancity, key financial partner, to join in near future)
  • Accepting new student applications starting September 2014
  • Initiating contacts with potential partner universities and Canadian financial institutions
  • First “Pay It Forward” fundraising campaign begins in September 2014
  • Planned press conferences in Vancouver and Toronto, television appearances on BC's Multicultural Channel and on CBC
