Philippe Packter is currently Special Counsel with Dler Law Office, Erbil, Kurdistan, Iraq, where he develops international business for the firm in America and Europe. He is an experienced lawyer, researcher, analyst and reporter with a longstanding interest in the study of comparative law.
Philippe has a strong academic and scholarly background; he has been a member of the New York Bar since 2007. In 2008 he earned an LLM, an advanced legal degree in international business law, from the most respected law school in France, Université Panthéon Assas Paris II. In addition to his legal background he also has an MBA, with expertise in finance, project management, and business strategy.
Philippe has worked in the US, Europe, the MENA region (the UAE and Iraq), and sub-Saharan Africa (Harare, Zimbabwe). He was born and raised in New York City, and is a citizen of the USA and The Netherlands. He speaks English, French and Dutch.
